What makes sea glass beautiful is that they are shaped by their rough journey in the ocean. And we think that pretty much is the same for mothers! Mother's Day is a celebration we really are excited about. We look forward to seeing mothers get the love and appreciation they deserve.
We've put together onhand Island Jewels pieces that we think moms will love. We've organized them by birthstone colors because we've noticed how our ladies like to choose colors based on their birth month.
1. Red
Red is the color of the birthstones of those born in January and July. For those born in January, their birthstone is Garnet and for July, it's Ruby.
Our first pick is an ultra rare sea glass necklace in 18K gold. The rope chain is 18 inches and suits the character of sea glass.
2. Purple
Amethyst, which is the birthstone of those born in February, is purple.
Purple sea glass earrings are very special (although all sea glass really are). They are not as rare as turquoise or red, but finding a pair to go together is not easy.
This set comes in fine silver, which does not tarnish.
3. Shades of blue
The birthstone of those born in March is aquamarine, which is a combination of 2 words aqua, meaning water, and marina, meaning the sea. For September birthday celebrants, their birthstone sapphire is a deep blue.

4. Shades of green
Green is the color of Emerald & Peridot. Emerald, which is the birthstone of those born in May, is a deeper green; while Peridot, the birthstone of August babies can range from yellow green to olive.

5. Yellow
Last in our list is the color of Topaz, the birthstone most associated with the month of November.
